Proudly hailing from New Mexico, he maintains deep-seated ties within the local community. Mark possesses specialized training in both vertical construction and heavy civil construction, showcasing a multifaceted skill set.
Having been a real estate owner/broker spanning 27 years gives Mark a unique outlook on not only the construction of a project but the purchasing and the financing aspects as well. Mark’s unwavering dedication to community betterment is exemplified by his significant contributions, including a five-year tenure on the Las Cruces Home Builders Board of Directors, where he later assumed the role of President. Moreover, he served as Chairman of the Sunrise Lions Club, orchestrating impactful fundraising endeavors. In his leisure time, he channels his creativity as an artist in the mediums of metalcraft and woodworking. Under Mark’s visionary stewardship, Highland Enterprises has ascended to the forefront of the construction landscape in the region, distinguished for its comprehensive service offerings and steadfast commitment to unparalleled craftsmanship.

Mike Heard boasts 45 years of distinguished expertise in the realm of commercial and industrial construction. He specializes in the precise and intricate craft of steel erection for commercial and industrial ventures, as well as the construction of complex concrete tilt wall buildings.
Known for his discerning vision to identify project requirements and his adeptness at accurately pricing the end product, Mike is committed to providing estimates on time, as well as sound budgets. His meticulous approach ensures projects are completed punctually and within budgetary constraints, reflecting his unwavering commitment to client satisfaction and project success. In his free time Mike enjoys staying active by swimming, running, and golfing.
